If you love reading comics such as Tintin, Smurfs, Spirou and many others, you should definitely consider visiting Brussels. There’s a Brussels and Comic Strip walk that’s available online (via visitbrussels.be) where you can visit different comic themed places – shops, museums, wall art, and cafe. Since I had one day to check out these places, I have managed to visit 2 wall art, 1 Museum, 2 Shops, and a cafe. I have been a fan of Tintin and the Smurfs since I was young, and seeing the homeland to these comics makes the trip more memorable to me. I can only imagine the inspiration that the cartoonist had during the development of these comics. These are the highlights (I believe) that are worth visiting if you plan to do the Comic walk tour in Brussels:
